A 1991 move to the Fraser Valley, in the Colorado mountains, tirggered a return to painting watercolor wildlife and landscapes. Carol Kitts has continued studies with Susan Blackwood, Cathy Goodale, Marcy Tatge and Terence Leach. All work is done from life, imagination or photos taken by the artist. Her work is in homes from Maine to California. It has been shown in the Grand Lake Gallery, the Fraser Frame Shop, the Winter Park Alpine Art Affair, the Fraser Christmas Craft Fair, Studio Madison and Streamside Art in Granby and the Elizabeth Kurtak Gallery in Fraser. She has also been a featured artist at the Fraser Valley Public Library and the Grand Lake Arts Council Artist of the Month. In 2007 Carol resumed oil painting as an additional medium.
